Ashlee is an experienced Post Graduated Qualified Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. She has a special interest in Bowel health, pelvic pain, sexual pain and vulvodynia. Ashlee also enjoys helping women during their pregnancies, as well as treating men with pelvic pain and pre and post operatively from prostate cancer.
Martin brings to the Pelvic health Melbourne Team years of experience as a physiotherapist and his most recent passion is helping men with pelvic health concerns and improving pelvic health outcomes for men. He works with men before and after prostate surgery, men experiencing pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfuntion and erectile health including peyronies disease.
Amanda has 10 years experience as a musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. She has recently returned from 3 years work at an expert pelvic health clinic in Brisbane, where she worked with clients experiencing a broad range of pelvic health dysfunctions and developed a pelvic floor safe pilates classes for her community. Amanda’s passion is to empower her clients with up to date information to assist their pelvic health needs.
Cara is a co-director of Pelvic Health Melbourne. She is a clinical expert in managing pelvic floor dysfunction with a particular interest in complex bowel health and pelvic pain in men and women.
She has a special interest in ensuring pessary fittings enable women to continue exercising whilst supporting their prolapse
Cara has completed her Masters of Physiotherapy majoring in Pelvic Health. She has also completed her Post Graduate Certificates in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and Exercise and Women’s Health at the University of Melbourne. Cara also received a scholarship through the Continence Foundation of Australia and completed her Graduate Certificate in Continence Promotion and Management.
Cara is a tutor in the Post Graduate Pelvic Health and Women’s Health program at the University of Melbourne and is also the state representative on the Australian Physiotherapy Associations’ national CWHPA.
Alex is a senior physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries and pelvic health issues. Alex has taught in both the undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy courses at the University of Melbourne. She is a clinical expert in the management of pelvic girdle pain and continues to educate in this field.
Alex has two postgraduate diplomas in pelvic health and is the National Chair of the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s, Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Group and a principal at Pelvic Health Melbourne. Her passion is, to improve pelvic health outcomes for every Australian man, woman, and child.
Liz is a dedicated musculoskeletal physio with a background in sports physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation. She has worked extensively with peripartum women and has a keen interest in pelvic girdle pain in men and women, covering coccyx, pubic symphysis and sacroliliac joint pain. Liz has completed her postgraduate diplomas in the area of pelvic floor physiotherapy which complements her sports and musculoskeletal expertise.
Melissa graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 with honours. She has since been a dedicated private practice physiotherapist in both sports/musculoskeletal physio and pelvic health. Melissa works with pelvic girdle pain, coccyx pain and pubic symphysis pain in both men and women. She also has experience with the management of incontinence, urgency, prolapse, DRAM and mastitis.
Vanessa has a special interest in childhood pelvic health, including assisting children with delayed bed wetting, bladder urgency and soiling due to emptying dysfunction.
Vanessa, as a mother of three young children, is also passionate about advising women on safe return to exercise after child birth. Vanessa is a runner herself, who balances exercise and family and pelvic health. Vanessa has 13 years of experience as a pelvic health physio advising on pelvic floor dysfunction contributing to bladder and bowel issues, pelvic pain, prolapse and sexual pain.
