Practitioners

  • Who you are?

    A passionate musculoskeletal practitioner with experience in private practice and an interest in Pelvic Health.


    Pelvic Health Physiotherapy/Osteopathy experience is an advantage but NOT essential.

  • Essential requirements?

    A qualified Physiotherapist/Osteopath with a minimum of two years of experience in musculoskeletal private practice.


    A proactive and passionate team player with a keen desire to learn and make a real difference in your client's lives.


  • Career pathway we offer?

    If you are starting with us from a non-pelvic health background you will generally begin with our Pelvic Health Foundations Course, an intensive 4-week training program with online learning support. 


    This will lead to clinical observation before starting in the clinic. 


    Ongoing support for the first six months is provided,  through bi-weekly mentoring and then as you progress - to weekly mentoring. 


    We also run monthly larger group in-services and case reviews. 


    As you gain competence and experience, you will be given the opportunity to assist with mentoring juniors.


    You may like to become involved as an educator for our community education events or to your peers via our industry physiotherapy education products. 


    Career progression:

    We have clear clinical competency requirements for you to progress along the pathway in your pelvic health practitioner career. These are:


    • Pelvic Health Physiotherapist/Osteopath
    • Senior Pelvic Health Physiotherapist/Osteopath
    • Expert Pelvic Health Physiotherapist/Osteopath

    Our large purpose-built clinic is located in Altona North, with smaller satellite clinics in Maidstone and Taylors Lakes.

Client services team

  • Who you are?

    Can you provide exceptional customer service with a genuine patient focus?


    Our patients often come to us extremely anxious and stressed due to the intimate nature of their concerns so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must. 


    A mature outlook and the ability to demonstrate empathy towards clients and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is always maintained.


    A team player with a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to also work independently as you will usually be flying solo at reception.

  • Essential requirements?

    Some experience in a medical/allied health reception position is preferred but not essential.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Experience taking calls, making appointments
    • Greeting and assisting  patients and guests
    • Processing payments using Hicaps, EFTPOS
    • Organisational skills
    • Attention to detail
    • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Experience working a part-time job share arrangement where handover notes 
    • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
    • Flexibility to cover additional shifts when other team members are on leave

  • Hours

    Our team roles are part-time, 5-6 hours shifts, covering our operating hours Monday to Thursday from  8.00 am - 7.00 pm, Friday 8.00 am to 3.30 pm,  and Saturdays 8.30 am - 1.30 pm on a rotating roster.

  • Location

    Our client services team operate from our head office in Altona North.
