PCOS affects 1 in 10 women of childbearing age.
It is caused by an imbalance of your reproductive hormones. This imbalance has a flow-on effect on your ovaries, their production of eggs, ovulation and the regularity of your menstrual cycle. This disruption can lead to infertility problems and the development of cysts that develop on the ovaries which may or may not burst.
Our Physios will discuss all these things but we will help manage how your PCOS may also affect your bladder bowel or intimacy function.
